We had never thought that buying a resale flat took us so much effort and then the renovation that has to come along..... Envy all those who managed to get new flats. Really much simpler process and much $$ saved.

Anyway, we bought a 5rm resale and had been hunting around for a sincere, trustworthy and value for money contractor. Yes. reads " wants cheap and good ".

We took our time to go around. About 3 solid months.... Think we went to so many shops/firms/recommendations that we had even considered being one. Quotation for our place ranges from $30,000 to $76,000. Yes.... the difference can pay for 50% of a car. Shockingly big gap for similar ideas. Our budget is limited and hence couldn't afford to go for a I.D.

Finally, we signed with the 1 of the renovation firms aka contractor....and I can be "the" I.D. for my place! haha....
