Fengshui audit of home!

We decided to go ahead with Chang Consultancy for viewing the fengshui of our hdb flat!



Arranged with Master Lim to calculate our 八字 against our flat's layout! Sounds cheem? Haha. 此宅坐南朝北，而且是離宅。生氣在東，天醫在東南！impressive? Haha. You'll not expect young couples who are 2 professionals to be so 迷信？ I believe a certain extent of life, there's an impact and reasoning behind with fengshui. At least Master Lim is also one who'll not anyhow ask you to buy this and that from him. Heard from 2 friends that they are not supposed to stay in their masterbedroom! Gosh.  will cry if such things happen. Luckily our fengshui audit went well!

Anyway after our fengshui audit, I guess the whole concept is more fixed. Easier to plan everything.

Floor Plan Errors

Super excited when we first got the floorplan from HDB. However, then we realised floorplans can be quite wrong... (we checked with neighbours regarding the layout, door of our entire block)

1 contractor says long long time ago, such old flats always have such "missing" features where $$ disappears into other people's pockets.... ours is 26 years old.... the original floorplan should be hand drawn and not such digital sketch. Guess the person who did it the newer digital drawing never check.

1st Post

We had never thought that buying a resale flat took us so much effort and then the renovation that has to come along..... Envy all those who managed to get new flats. Really much simpler process and much $$ saved.

Anyway, we bought a 5rm resale and had been hunting around for a sincere, trustworthy and value for money contractor. Yes. reads " wants cheap and good ".

We took our time to go around. About 3 solid months.... Think we went to so many shops/firms/recommendations that we had even considered being one. Quotation for our place ranges from $30,000 to $76,000. Yes.... the difference can pay for 50% of a car. Shockingly big gap for similar ideas. Our budget is limited and hence couldn't afford to go for a I.D.

Finally, we signed with the 1 of the renovation firms aka contractor....and I can be "the" I.D. for my place! haha....
